Guardian is a family of professional services for self-hosted Odoo environments. It helps customers assess production risk, validate certificate renewal, test recovery, correct infrastructure problems, plan upgrades and maintain ongoing technical oversight.

You are purchasing a defined professional service. DPIO uses its internal tools and Odoo experience to perform the work, interpret the evidence and deliver the agreed result. Customers are not expected to operate the Guardian tooling themselves.

Choose Guardian Baseline Assessment when you do not yet know what is wrong. Choose a focused service when the problem is already clear, such as an expired certificate, unreliable Discuss calls, untested backups or a planned upgrade.

Most Guardian services require temporary, authorized administrative or SSH access. DPIO confirms the server, scope, approved access method and service window before work begins. Access should be revoked or rotated after the engagement.

The Baseline Assessment is intended to be observational and minimally invasive. Corrective changes are not made unless the customer separately authorizes a remediation scope.

No. The assessment identifies and explains risks. The Odoo Rescue Sprint or a separate quotation covers approved corrective work. This separation prevents unauthorized changes and keeps the assessment independent from remediation.

DPIO documents the issue, explains the likely impact and recommends the safest next action. If immediate intervention is appropriate, DPIO will request explicit authorization before making production changes.

The recovery test is designed for an isolated environment so the production database is not replaced. DPIO confirms storage requirements, backup handling and the test procedure before beginning.
